I have a question (probably common sense but im new to this so…). If I see a crack on a foundation that follows the motar between the blocks, would it be a reason to be looked at by a specialist, or is this a common crack. The crack is mainly vertical but like I said it starts at the ground and follows up the whole foundation. Just wondering.

yes its a stair step crack. I didnt think it was a problem, but me being new I had to ask just to make sure (actually I just wanted to ridiculed by everyone for being new).
But with you being new, I think I will defer to Igor…Batter up!
