Did a pre-drywall inspection yesterday, wondering if this is allowed under Florida Building code? I was going to call the building department tomorrow, but the garage door bucks are only secured with washers and tapcons.
So I went to a couple of the other homes, and they had the same thing. Dont see how this could be allowed for wind resistance.
Just thought I would get an opinion before I call the department…
