Hi,
I’m new to the home inspection business and am looking to see if anyone has a cheat sheet for Heat Pump nomenclature that can be used as a quick reference to determine the capacity of a unit that they wouldn’t mind sharing.
Thanks,
Steve;)

Take the closest number divisible by 12 in the model # and divide by 12. 18 1.5, 24 2…
That would be for capacity, how about age…
This is what I use.
This is a good site

International Comfort .
36 in the model indicates 3-ton (12+12+12=36).
04 in the serial indicated 2004.
Well he only asked for capacity. Date can be a bit trickier for some units.
