Hello east coast ...Dorian is headed your way

Windy is a great website it animates both models.

Tropical Tidbits posts some detailed information.

If you are a true weather geek then the forum on American Weather is where the deep thinking meteorologists hang out.

These three are my go to sites when hurricanes are approaching Florida, enjoy.

Best satellite link in the country.

This view of Hurricane Dorian is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Great picture, Joe. I hope it doesn’t do much death and destruction.

Roy, how far inland are you? Will a cat 2 still be hard on your area?

About halfway between both coast…High Springs.

I don’t think so.

I’m a native Floridian in my family goes back for over 200 years here. And we have learned to leave the coastline to the Yankees. We don’t mind having them washed away :grinning:

Must be why I don’t like Florida.

And we don’t like you either…:grinning:
Just stay up there and freeze your yankee brains…

In all honesty ! I fear the cold more than I do hurricanes.
I worked on the northern slope in Alaska for about 6 years…
I have a great respect for the cold…Yep!

Again, I am with Roy on this one.
We get maybe one hurricane scare a year.
Months of freezing cold, earthquakes, tornadoes…I’ll take it to live in paradise!
