If no other roof shapes (including the “raised portion”) are greater than 10% of the total roof system perimeter then it’s Hip…otherwise it’s “Other”.
Yes, that gable feature is included in the calcs. Looks like about 20’, so it should work out to HIP anyway.

Check the sketch at the property appraisor site and do the math.
Thats how I have been doing it.
Easier than I first thought it would be.
I normally do it that way on site and walk out and take visual comparisons to make sure I am reading the sketch right.
I bet its close on that one
