multiple ext cracks, problems and solution are on the outside but as usual an interior drainage system was installed that did NOT stop the water from entering into the blocks through ext cracks and did not reduce, lessen any lateral soil pressure and if there are tree roots against the wall(s) these INT systems don’t remove those either = scam, fraud
1:05 perimeter of basement floor was j hammered etc = INT drainage system
and doing water management isn’t going to stop further water from entering nor waterproof the ext cracks and you’ll still get lateral soil pressure acting upon the walls
why not call this out? why not state the truth, why not say something like the INT system wasn’t needed, didn’t waterproof the multiple cracks, didn’t reduce any soil pressure, should never have been recommended as a solution to these problems,boy that would have killed ya huh to ring the truth bell
like this, this home inspector ‘gets it’ and isn’t a weasel as he calls out the garbage for any homeowner that may view the video, for their benefit

I just don’t understand How people think they can treat bowed in walls with an interior system…if You dont take the pressure off that sad wall is going to cave in on that nice dry basement floor…I had a builder turned realtor trying to sell a pos to someone that was suppoed to be a friend of his for His daughter…the walls were leaing like a drunken sailor…so he says to the buyer…I have seen this before…you just have to raise the grade and all is good right Jim ? I looked at the both and said sure add more weight to these collapsing walls…why postpone the inevitable…
yet seems many wanna cover the crawl walls, hide 'em, the INT system chumps AND they don’t stop water that enters through ext cracks in block walls - one isn’t going to see water up high on blocks, no, ummm because they are hollow blocks, water goes through the EXT cracks n stays inside the cores as it drops through lower blocks and most often comes out where the bottom of the wall meets the floor, dirt or otherwise
the caption, ‘Any idiot or agent that will tell you to have hacks come in and install a drainage system on the interior should be expediently given a hard kick in the pants, the dry basement criminals are out there waiting to steal 10,000 from you (2015 video, more now)to mutilate your basement and not fix your problem’… yes SIR, good man, kick their azz bro!
and 2 vid’s prior, crawlspace video (one crack leads to another)… he removed some insulation to show cracks in crawl walls, don’t know how many HI’s would do that but i sure as hell appreciate it - i take back the PILL i slapped on previously! MY bad brother!
