Hello everyone newbie here and wasn’t quite sure if this warrents a look at by a SE. The seperation is up to 3/8" in spots. There is an old drainhole in the middle of the patio so water has been directed under the slab.
The grade is to high for the structure.
Not an issue for a Structural Engineer.
Carl the house is to low for the grade
Where is this in relation to the finish floor? based on your pictures (1) it seems as though there is 4 to 6 inches. Is this a slab on grade? no crawl space or basement? Is the water pooling in this area? Normally with slab on grade a deco-drain is used.
The patio is 4-6" lower than the finish floor which is slab on grade water is directed away from the house so no evident water damage. There is a drain in the middle of the patio which just drains under the patio.
Hope you are doing well Billy.
By the way Chris, what part of the world are you in?
