Human Skull

I came across a human skull within a crawl space on a WDI Inspection today.
Not a prop, actual skull…
since only contracted a WDI, I did not have my camera…
Home dates to 1742…
How would you report?

You should have left the crawl space while trying not to disturb anything I only say that cause I am a police officer and if the area is disturbed makes thing much harder for us

my narrative! Sent from my phone. A freaking skull was foundin your crawl space.it appears to have a have a striking resemblance of Jimmy Hoffa. Recommend calling your local Teamsters for further identification.

I have several questions;

1. Was it “partially buried”?
2. Was it lying in Open View on the dirt’s surface?
3. Was it “clean” or was there any flesh residue and or hair residue?
4. Did you see any other skeletal remains/body parts?
5. Was there a smell of “death/decomposition”?
6. Was it an adult’s skull or was it a child’s skull?
7. Were there any “apparent injuries” to the skull? I.e. bullet holes,
   “Hammer marks” etc. etc.

Do you remember the serial killer John Wayne Gacey ?
He killed approximately 33 men and boys and used to use his basement/crawlspace as a burial ground! The smell of “death” coming from his crawlspace was extremely strong and his neighbors had filed several complaints against him.

Maybe it was a former HI. Maybe the REA saw a perfect opportunity and screwed the crawlspace hatch shut and then bolted.

There’s a few agents/sellers around here that I’m sure have contemplated something to that effect for me

I would think a home that old has quite a bit of history. The skull could be as old as the home. I am sure people we easier to get rid of 200 years ago.
I personally don’t think I could have kept doing anything except squealing like girl and leaving the crawl as fast as possible.
