Congratulations Andy! Determination is key. It’s a Great Profession!
Congratulations!
Congratulations! I just started my journey to becoming licensed in Connecticut.
Congratulation … many of us know the happiness of passing that test!
Congrats!
That’s awesome!!
Congratulations Andy!! I too have just become a certified home inspector in Georgia through InterNACHI, and would recommend this organization to anyone.
I have a friend that is a home inspector in Tennessee that referred me to a different home inspection school. After spending $1000 on training courses, I learned that Columbus, Ga. does not recognize that school. I was bummed to have spent all that time and money unnecessarily, but it was a blessing because it introduced me to InterNACHI. I’ve learned so much more through these courses. Your enthusiasm tells me that you will be a great inspector!
Larry, don’t worry about the money spent. I too did the same thing. The money I spent between the two (including interNACHI) turned out the best for me. It opened my eyes to basic 101 courses as opposed to advanced learning courses. Pretty much an invaluable learning experience on my part.
BTW- Georgia is a State that doesn’t require squat to be a HI.
Or any school. GA does not care. What’s going on in Columbus?
Apparently Columbus has a small list of associations that they will acknowledge. It was actually a blessing in disguise, because InterNACHI provided me with better training (at a much lower cost) to equip me to become a better inspector.
I agree with everything you said. The course I took before was a one-and-done course that cost additional for any additional training. I was actually surprised to see that Alabama had more stringent requirements that Georgia does. Since I live on the border of the 2 states, I will pursue my Alabama license next year.
Congratulations! I’m in the middle of finishing my courses online and will be taking the state certification in Florida here soon too! Do you have any helpful hints on what you did to prepare for the test? I’m seriously scared! Any help greatly appreciated…and congrats again! So awesome
Good job Andy, wish you luck in your future endeavors! Congratulations
