As for Mr Wand and Mr Cook posting information be it true or false, most of us Canadian H.I.'s take it with a grain of salt.

I agree with Paul. The entire Canadian problem can be attributed to me, Raymond, Roy, and Larry (although in fairness, Larry has recently pretty much stopped participating in the nonsense). For the record, I voted YES.
Now, the bigger question is: How do we stop this? I'm willing to totally drop out of the picture, but only if my name isn't dragged through the mud by others and my association isn't trashed needlessly. There's the catch, right? All you have to do is convince Roy Cooke Sr to get over OAHI and CAHPI and stop bringing up my name and I'm gone. Same with Raymond and the others.

I appreciate your idea, but you have to concede that it's a lot easier to tell someone to ignore constant personal attacks than to actually do it yourself, right? I mean, if it were you under attack, no doubt you'd be inclined to respond. I'm not big on taking crap from people, especially those two, as you can imagine. If they'd simply move on with their lives and forget about me, instead of trying to offend and antagonize me and insult the associations to which I belong, I'd have no reason to be here.

Methinks the other 2 arent ever going to stop. They found your buttons and just want to keep pushing them. I wrote on another post aking Roy to lighten up a bit, but he took it as a personal affront to him and then wanted to discuss it in private. Since I wasn’t trying to insult him, I let the matter drop then and there. It seems to work as he an I seem to get along.
Anyway, you can only be bothered if you let yourself be bothered. If what the others say is BS, let it go, most of arent stupid, we can separate the bull and get to the salient points quite easily.
I and probably hundreds of others have been watching these constant and useless pissing matches for a long time. It’s time to let them die. One of you has to stand up and be a man. Develop and use an ignore button in your brain. I know it’s hard, but you’ll find that you can drive people nuts just by simply ignoring them.

Thanks Brian. I'll give it some thought. I wish I could say that I'm big enough to turn the other cheek, but to be honest I'm just not sure I am. I know all this constant fighting and nonsense makes ALL of us involved look like immature, unprofessional idiots, not to mention how it drags this forum into the gutter. I'll give your words of wisdom some careful consideration. I wish I could make you a promise here and now, but to do so would only encourage them to try to make me break it.

That's not unreasonable. I'm not talking about the normal sort of stuff discussed about OAHI or any other association. Only the inflammatory stuff... the stuff Roy most often posts. Frankly, your posts about OAHI and/or CAHPI don't tend to be that inflammatory. You are also in the habit of providing details to substantiate the things you bring up when it comes to association stuff, which is why I rarely take issue when you are critical of OAHI or CAHPI. No association is perfect.
But I'm not going to sit back and listen to crap about OAHI and CAHPI. I'm not trying to curtail anyone's right to free speech but at the same time I'm not going to put up with needless trashing of the associations to which I belong. That's not unreasonable either.

Strange how there are 19 post's and one person has made 8 about 40% of them .

This person has never helped one person in all his posts .
He has run down NICK and NACHI continually .
He now has transferred his efforts to me when I post some information that he feels is upsetting to him.
This is so unfortunate that he does not want this information to get out to all .
I have challenged him to please show that my information is incorrect and he just goes into his continual attack mode .
At least the ASHI main branch does not have quite as vocal and vindictive members.
