What steps should I take to get certified as a licensed home inspector. Is there a demand for this profession. I do have a lot of construction background. Any constructive input would be appreciated.

Just like any other forum you have used in the past…or not…use the search function and man will you get a load of info. Also click on the archives…tons of info there as well.

Please give us more information. Where do you live or where would you be working this business? You may then get specific information from current inspectors in this area. You might also spend some time reading this bulletin board. This subject has been covered many many times with long threads. It may already have answers for you. Best of luck.
