I recently took and passed my ICC residential builders test. Now I am thinking of getting my Commercial builders cert. Has anyone else did this and if so did it help with picking up more business?
Never heard of an “ICC rsidential builders test”. Is that a new one?
Excuse me, ICC residential building inspectors. And no, its been out for a while I believe.
So why not finish off the exams with the ICC Residential Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical Inspector certifications first (R5 Residential Combination Inspector)? Then move on to the commercial series.
Haven’t thought of that, but it does sound like a good idea. I guess my main thought in the commercial cert is it helping me get more business.
