Encouraging…

Actually all it is “showing” us is a possible reading comprehension issue, possible lack of knowledge of electrical, and possible rage/lack of self esteem not being able to post a reply without pulling a trigger first.

I am sure Mr. McKee is having a good laugh right now.

Mike Parks, Bless your heart! I think for most folks it is not too difficult to read the written word in a license law or regulation. Now how you might comprehend it could be a different story. Home inspectors do not work under the codes and are under no requirement to inspect to codes, in fact it is recommend that they shouldn’t unless they have the proper qualifications.

Doing a pre-drywall inspection is not a code inspection, that was hopefully completed by the AHJ in that town, city or community. The pre-drywall just catches things that are often missed by the contractor, their subs and even the AHJ that has done a so called inspection.

Tell that to the Chair of the OHIB. At November’s meeting he stated “that you better know code.”
The code word.wmv (26.1 MB)

Then the public should be told the difference. The HI here in Ohio state otherwise.

That is because he is dumbass. NACHI nor ASHI ever cite code or test on code. And code is a collection of many building standards. Nor does NACHI or ASHI rely on code for all their source materials. You should educate him.

I’m tryin. Every other word out of his mouth is ASHI this or ASHI that. He wants everyone to follow the ASHI SOP. He tried to get it adopted verbatim but he was made to go through the process kicking and screaming ASHI.

He has also been violating the very laws that he adopted. 3 years later and he acts like it is something new.
