Inspection for Home Insurance company???

Hello,

I received a call from an elderly couple this week that want a home inspection. The wife told me that they are re-newing their home owners insurance and the insurance company asked for a home inspection. I asked her if she needed an inspection or an apraisal and she replied that she needed an inspection.

I'm really concerned that an inspection is not what they need. Is this a common thing? If it is, is there anything specific I should be looking at during the inspection?

Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

Hello Frank,

The Insurance company is asking for an Insurance Inspection.

these are also known as 4 point inspections.

We are in Palm Harbor, call me at the office and I will review/go on this inspection with you so you can learn and provide this service, ok?

Thanks,

It has been a long time since I did one of these but remember that my client had a form from the ins. co. that I filled out. It was pretty basic though. Compared to a full inspection the ins. company touched on a few major areas. I would do a full inspection though as if they were trying to sell. It may not be worth your time to just do a partial type of inspection.
