Does anyone out there have an estimation of how long the interNACHI aging in place inspection checklist takes to complete? Any suggested inspection fees for the Virginia area?
I reviewed the checklist and came to the conclusion that it was impractical. It is a list of everything you possibly would do to prepare for any type of ailment/disability. My thought was that if you know the people that will be occupying the home and their individual limitations, you could sort through this list to come with a practical list that is customized to the client and inspect to that.
Note to InterNACHI: It would be helpful if the checklist was pre-sorted by what limitation or limitations each item is addressing (wheelchair bound, poor eyesight) and so forth.
