Jeff, I believe I can identify the defects for you…
Pic #1---no need for second hole in wall, recommend cover with
tin foil and duct tape.
Pic #2---ghastly wallpaper, recommend paint it psychedelic orange
and mauve.
Pic #3---bare wire should not point upward as it might impale
squirrel walking along the NM cable.
Pic #4---2"insulation in one space, no insulation in the other--
creates uneven insulative factor.
and
Pic #5---double tapped staple.
How'd I do?
