IPhone

Videos are working for those that have responded so far except yours…? Are you using an iPhone or ipad? Do you have quicktime installed on your desktop? I am assuming you are using our cloud to transfer and are describing when HG desktop is converting the video?

All other bugs you mentioned except swiftkey (which may be unrelated) have been sent to the developer earlier…so we expect updates to happen quickly depending on the iTunes store timeline.

Russell, I stand corrected. The video is working. I had to remove Quicktime and then reinstall it.

Awesome! We will be updating again soon that will have the little things mentioned corrected.

Got all set up and used to make a report on my house. Crashed once, but only lost a min. I set the auto save for just 2 min… Worked well and was able to do very quickly. How do you get the price list moved over? I have saved template several times and doesn’t move prices? Looking forward to being able to work on reports while in my truck office!

Russell, how is the next update coming? We just have a few more bugs and I would feel real confident in using it as my daily driver.

The invoice prices not coming over is fixed and due out next release. Some more things are being corrected. No new bugs discovered so far so the ios is becoming more stable. Next release should really be getting it cleaned up.

When? Next two weeks or less is my guess. If not sooner.

Russell, update released today has nearly the same bugs. Still not showing “all” items with blue check when finished.

actually the only bug we didn’t fix was the one you mentioned so it should only be that one as far as known bugs. The developer had that one to go and since it was a minor one we wanted to correct and update the others.

Let us know please should you or anyone find any more.

Playing around with the iOS today and still noticed that the invoices don’t transfer over the cents (ex. 331.86 will only transfer over 331.00) does not add taxes or sub-total everything.
Also did not transfer over all my comments in certain headings, didn’t check them all but (ex. Interior walls on computer I have 30 auto comments and when transferred templates over on iOS only 25 showed up.

I also noticed if you select multiple comments it lumps them together and doesn’t itemize them with their own individual line.

As far as losing comments…It didn’t lose your comments. It was creating a lot of blank space. If you scroll down more you will see them there. We have submitted to eliminate the extra space between comments

Russell, I tried again over the weekend when I send my templates to the ipad it does not transfer all my comments in some categories, but when I create a report on computer and then send it to the ipad all the comment texts transfer over. Also crashed once and I sent the report error.

It has been duplicating components on our reports.

Shawn, don’t take this wrong, but we think it is transferring them and right now there is sometimes a lot of space between each comment… If you will …please send me the inspection item number that all comments didn’t transfer. Tell me how many are there at this inspection item and how many transferred and I will look at your template and will be able to tell.

Can you be more specific? For instance explain it in steps where you are and what you did. Are you saying it is duplicating inspection items?

When one inspector puts items in the plumbing section and merges with another inspector with items in the plumbing section, The whole sections do not merge. There becomes two distinct plumbing sections. So far it has only happened with plumbing.

Okay so this is a “merge” issue. It could be that the templates are different even a slight amount. It might be that one of the plumbing items has a space in the item name…different than the other merging template.

If you have the time to go deeper on the issue:

Did this use to work?
When did it stop working?
Are you using iPhones/iOS for both reports or ?
Are you using the same template to start both reports?
Can you send us the two reports before merge?

These help narrow down if it is a HG 5 merge thingy or ios or android combination.

It is an Iphone merge issue to windows. It only happens with when we use the Iphone. I can run a few tests if you want and send them to you. It is the same template.

On another note I still get duplicated overview sections sometimes, I have been unable to predict when it happens but in happens in a triple merge from android to windows and windows. It usually duplicates the general info, report introduction and the exterior introduction. I am do not know why, one person does the report intro and two do the exterior section.
