Exactly Jim…kind of ironic some IDIOT seems to know me, when in fact he does NOT…I can’t seem to stomach IDIOTS like Mr. Meyers for some reason—
Are you serious? :roll::roll:
Comprehension must not be your strong suit.
I didn’t see anywhere that anyone tried to “hid”[sic] behind licensing to get business.
Do you really think any one HI is soley responsible for the law and had the power to get a law enacted to reduce competition?
And certainly business just doesn’t “come your way with little or no effort”
no matter what the laws of your state may be.
You are so far off, it’s almost comical.
Very true.
MY, ARE WE A LITTLE TOUCHY!!! TRUTH MUST HURT.
I’d call you, but doubt you wouild accept a collect call!!!
I never said that nor did my post insinuate that “Dale hides behind licensing”. Dale has simply used a situation to his benefit, from what I know Dale is a very well respected highly skilled inspector, who would thrive in any market.
Believe me I WOUID (would) accept a collect call you illiterate nit-wit—![]()
Try a little better in the spelling department, your clients will appreciate it—
Not that far off. By his own admission, his phone is ringing off the hook due to the law that has limited competition. Does the law protect the consumer, or does it limit competition? AS he freely admits, the law HAS
excluded others in the market resulting in his increase in business.
Have yoiu ever heard of supply and demand economics???!!!
Yeah, you and comprehension must have a disfunctional relationship.
He said that many are going out of business (and that’s everywhere - licensed and non-licensed states) and he is seeing an increase in his.
If someone can’t cover their costs, and goes out of business, that’s not any laws fault. Nor should those who are in business subsidize those going out of business.
For example, if someone couldn’t pay their phone bill and could only make collect calls, would that be the phone companies fault, or the deadbeat who had to call collect?
Stop it Rick----
You’re killing me-----—
Thanks Rick!!
In case anyone missed it earlier…
I am not doubting his ability nor his business reputation. I am bashing the HI laws that in effect limit competition, thus benefitting current inspectors, to the disadvantage of those who wish to enter the business.
I would assume he has been in business for quite some time and in most probablilty entered the business pre licensing, and made it on his own with hard work and a lot of time. Now, through licensing, he wishes to not give that opportunity to others.
competition on a level playing field is good Limiting competition through restrictive licensing laws serves no one, other than the current license holders.
Truth must hurt I am busy because inspectors are letting their licenses lapse, makes a lot of sense huh Rick?----![]()
Apparently the truth hurts some crazy bastard who has absolutely nothing to do with AZ Inspections or our licensing----](*,)
Someone needs to help him get back into his strait-jacket-----:D-----

Poor bastard is probably just on a furlough from an institution this week in celebration of Ground Hog Day----![]()
Wow, you can’t even comprehend your own posts.
Lets see…
:roll::roll:
Yes.
Yeah, just like because you have a license (and are obeying the laws of your state) you are responsible for those that couldn’t make it in business. ![]()
I also didn’t realize you were so powerful that you single handedly enacted a law. ![]()
We mostly agree, I didn’t appreciate you attacking Dale through my post he is a friend of mine and I’m glad you clarified your message. In regards to licensing we are on the same page, it really solves nothing and creates unforeseen consequences.
My only point in my last post was to point out that most inspectors who favor licensing are dishonest regarding their reasons.
That one gets an “oh snap!”.
Steven,
Sorry, since you are not a NACHI member I can’t respond to your private message privately, this is the best I can do.
I disagree… and not only do I contend that I’m as smart as I think I am, but I believe that I’m also smarter than your average Licensing Nazi who is willing to sell out his profession to protect his market.
I am also the very best example of what it really means to be an active anti-licensing home inspector, as I don’t simply rely on my NACHI Certified five-year status as my sole certificate. I have over twenty years experience as a state licensed construction professional and since becoming a home inspector have passed the NHIE and the four ICC Exams for the ICC Residential Combination Inspector (R-5) certificate.
So just to let you know… Your next accusation that I’m either too dumb, lazy or inexperienced to obtain a license doesn’t hold water either. Oh, and by the way before I forget, I’m also a fully certified ASHI member who is the vice president of a local ASHI chapter. Basically, what I am is a licensing zealot’s nightmare.
And we love him for it!!!![]()
LOL… Give him hell Dale… .:D:D:D
