LOL, I was hoping you were kidding. I know it wasn’t funny at the time, but after they said he was OK, I could not help myself but watch it over and over again.

This video had little to do with ladder safety, guys…
Watch the person descend from the upper step. He purposely over steps the intermediate step.
I thought he was going to fall because the ladder had the wrong angle, floor was wet, or ladder needed footing. Not because he was trying to hurry the shot for television.
The former would have been appropriate for ladder safety. The latter was hot-dogging. Big difference, IMO

I did not watch the video on purpose. Joe F. you may be right( I did not see, so maybe not). But remember something important. Over 80% of work related accidents happen as a result of complacency. Most of the injuries are not because the worker did not know how to do or use something, it was because they got too comfortable with what they were doing. That is what leads to “hot-dogging”. Every one of us is probably guilty.

Joe F.,
Watch it either slow motion or stop frame, you will see that he went for the right rung, and his toe missed it.
This was not intentional 'skip a step' descent down a ladder. This was a live action case of what can happen when you are not paying attention to what you are doing when you are descending a ladder.

I don’t about anyone else, but I have to click on every topic to get the "unread message indicator to go off. I don’t appreciate having some guy’s mauled face appear. For God’s sake make the pics clickable links.

Agreed. My 3 yo grandson is often at the computer with me, and I would rather he not see some guys eye popping out. We understand safety, but let us have the choice of whether to look at the picture.

No Problem, I wanted to get my point across because of comments that did not see ladder safety involved here.
I have other images and will avoid the true image and set up the link, but what would you do if this happened to someone near you and you were the only one nearby?
