40% discount? https://www.lenscrafters.ca/lc-ca/savings/offers
Thanks, Junior!
I guess every little bit helps, but that doesn’t strike me as a significant discount. Of the three components: exam, frames, lenses, lenses are by far the cheapest. Frames and exam the most expensive.
You do get what you pay for with Frames. Also as far as the lenses go, most of the discount places do not or cannot make the really good progressive lenses, I wish they could. I got along with the cheap $20 readers for a long time. About 18 months ago got an exam and the doc gave me the options and Prices. I made a business decision to not go cheap…98% of our business is using our eyes and I figure if you are willing to shell out $3,000+ for an IR Camera, $1,000 is not that bad of an investment for good Eyeballs.
Oh yes, and I can again shoot my M1 Garand with no problem…not going to happen with regular prescriptions or bifocals.
My progressive prescription is almost as good as my pre 40 year old 20-15 vision and yes the frames were about $250 alone.
Thanks, Larry.
