Does anyone use the “little Giant” ladder? What do you think of it?

Any info would be nice such as problems with the ladder.

Best ladder you can buy for our profession. The LG 17' Heavy Duty 350 lb rating is the most popular. The HD ladder cost a little more but when you are 15+ feet off the ground the extra $$ don't matter. Same goes for the LG knockoffs, the extra $$ for the LG is worth it when you are off the ground.

You can order the LG from the manufacture (Wing Industries) and save a good deal over ordering from one of the home inspector gadget vendors.

I have two, the 17’ one and a 26’ one.

Great ladders and cannot be beat.

I love mine. There are many copies, make sure to look how there constructed. Little giant is a very well built ladder, also made in the USA. The wide spread legs stabilize the ladder. Worth the money in my book. You can buy a cheaper ladder but what’s a emergency room call cost?? Ladders are one place I won’t cut corners.

Good luck.

How do they compare to the Gorilla ladders as far as safety?

Vince, I have had the LG and now have the Costco 17’ ladder and it is awesome.

Cost is about $200 less. Only 5lbs more.

Safety and ladders. That’s a good question. Most problems are from the operator screwing up when placing the ladder, to close or not close enough. Uneven ground / flooring. Everyone is going to be happy with the ladder of there choice. I can only speak for me. I love mine. It’s worth every penny. The steps are welded and riveted.

I purchased a JAWS ladder, a Little Giant knockoff I guess. I have the JJT17 very similar to a LG but it only weighs 25.5lbs. cost was $240. I figured this ladder only has to support my weight for home inspections, I dont plan on carrying bundles of shingles onto a roof with it. It is a Type1 heavy duty 250# workload. Folded 4’5" Extension range 7’3" to 14’6" step ladder range 4’2" to 7’.
