Loose Breakers

May be a silly question. No problems noted with house or any other part of the electrical system, but at the panel, about 8 or so breakers were noticeably loose. They wouldn’t come off or anything. I posted a pic I thought best represented it. What should be the normal tolerance for this and when is it excessive enough to be a problem? Mark or Paul, any input from you guys would be appreciated.

What you have pictured is just a general design problem associated with all the Westinghouse-style 1" breakers that so many brands are patterned after. In my opinion, it’s a problem, but you’d be tackling a monumental can of worms if you were to ever mention it as a problem.

Sounds good. I’ll leave it at that. Thanks for the reply, and sorry for spelling your name wrong.
