Master Inspector Certification Board files Petition to Cancel GAHI's deceptively-similar mark

Here ya go. It’s still there. I widened my screenshot to include the post # on the right so you can go look for it yourself and confirm that no one deleted it.

I know what I posted. Can’t argue with those that control the boards. You win as always, in as controller of the “boards” and don’t lie saying you can’t.

Really sad you do this!

Do you need me to take a screenshot of it again for you?

Me running away from this thread, I do not want this ju ju

I think someone may have been tipping a few too many.

I know of an idiot braggart that used to proudly display that CRAP

Larry, you are right. My apologies to Nick and everyone else I offended on this thread, or any other thread I may have posted on. I have a tendency to get overly emotional on certain subjects and really show my ass.
Again, my apologies to all.

Part of having a Trademark is protecting it, if Nick didn’t defend it he could end up losing it to the other group.

The whole CMI thing loses a lot of street cred anyways by having members designated as CMI’s who haven’t met all of the requirements i.e. been an inspector for three years…not that the consumers will ever know.

That would be unfortunate. This has happened before?

This is bigger than any one person. Let’s not lose sight of what CMI has given back to the inspection profession or to allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good. Before CMI there was no nationally recognized credential for experienced home inspectors, it’s only natural that others would attempt to hitch their star to the success CMI has had.

Oh, and and one final thought… let’s not hate on the Georgia guys for understanding the value of CMI, they have a good code based product and are also an asset to our profession.

Good post Joe. I know of one organization that would be legally permitted to create a Code Certified Master Inspector professional designation. Maybe they should do it.

It’s not someone else’s money if it has been voluntarily sent. YOU have voluntarily sent it and it is no longer your money.

How about at this stage? Master Inspector Certification Board® acquires "Code Certified Master Inspector- CCMI®" Registered Trademark.

Your hopes have been dashed: Master Inspector Certification Board® acquires "Code Certified Master Inspector- CCMI®" Registered Trademark.

I don’t lose. In 21 years in the ring, the boxer Floyd Mayweather has a record of 50-0. In 28 years in legal battles, I have a record of 54-0.

As a CMI in Ga thank you for protecting us all.

Thanks. Winning is easy for me. What’s hard is having to listen to so many of my own members tell me that I can’t win. That’s what really exhausts me.

I thought it was another comment about me! Never mind.

You too? How many times do I have to win? I’m 54-0. I just got sued in Tennessee last week and my attorneys aren’t licensed in TN. So we had to hire local counsel down there. First thing out of his mouth is: “They have a strong case, you should consider just giving them what they want.” My attorneys had to talk to him and get his mind right. We’re researching every way to countersue.
