Part 2 Funny stuff actually, and Mikey… try hand digging the ENTIRE trench and do it for 2, 3, 4 decades and then come talk to us, this isn’t an easy pants job.
I bet the inspector UP NORTH thinks Mike is a real professional, maybe the best ever lol, so let me ask… he talks like Mr Professional for you but did he do a professional waterproofing job for these homeowners? Nope no he did not.

2nd video, he says RAIN is a COMING lol so what does he do? He thinks placing 2 tarps over all that clay soil will help prevent a cave in… what happens? It caves in!!! haahaaha lololOOLOLLLllll
1-- one should NOT place that much soil, let alone clay soil they use for backfill, that close to an open trench! Mistake, not professional lol actually stupid but whatever, the weight of the clay soil alone (without it raining) pushing down on existing soil near an open trench could cause a cave in.
2-- see they backfill with most of the same clay soil they dug out and, lol, that the builder backfilled with

Common sense is not so common anymore… even!!!, and I say this with outmost respect, in guys that are the better tradesmen and inspectors. What are you gonna do? people are people, nobody’s perfect, some are just better at what they do. A lot of times they truly believe [due to many different reasons] they are doing the right thing or fixing something the correct way. At least they tried or fixed it from the outside [in the 2nd video], no? Not every one comes with bad intentions.
per Mikey, yeah in ‘this’ video at this house he tried doing the right thing, 1/2 assed. In other videos at other homes w/leaky basements he installs some INT systems so lolll he bounces around, back n forth eh.

waterproofing n foundation repair isn’t an easy trade and yeppers, nobody is perfect, things can n sometimes do change on-the-fly, cave ins can occur, underground problems sometimes arise that only Superman would know before digging.
sure some may truly believe what they do is the right thing, doesn’t mean it is. Where, from whom did they learn the bs i’d ask… like INT system chumps who have never seen the exterior of block, bricks etc basement walls, they have no idea what REALLY is many people’s actual problems, that’s not my fault, that’s their fault and whoever told 'em INT systems are the way to go
Jeffrey Dahmer got hungry, maybe thought the way to go was kill peeps and eat em FER supper, maybe he thought he was doing them all a favor and truly believed choppin’ em up FER a snack was right thing to do.
