I know you can’t have more three EGC’S under the grounded bus lug(s). I don’t think this is a big deal but I have been wrong before lol, and I do see this from time to time. Would this warrant an electrician to relocate the EGC’S so no more than 3 are on a single lug in your opinion?
There is no way for virtually anyone to know how many conductors that lug is rated for. I’m sure the resident electricians will skewer me for this, but if those grounds were twisted up nice and tight, I wouldn’t have a real-life issue with it. As it is though, I think there is some risk that one or more of the grounds might not be secured properly. I would recommend an electrician for that reason.
I was thinking the same thing.
Ditto… and I also bet the OP wouldn’t have given it a second glance either!
Yeah, I’m the dissent.
Now if the conductors were all tightly twisted together before termination, that I might find acceptable.
Thank you Robert!
I am retracting that post.
From another thread…
It’s funny because it still would not be code compliant but it would be no different than twisting together all of the strands on the SE cable neutral.
Two big words.
