Mousepad Idea

With the mousepads appearing to be such a big hit for NACHI, I looked into having Mousepads made up for my company to distribute to Realtors. The cost per pad for me would have been about $7.30/per item, at a minimum order of 250. This was more than I could afford so I ask Nick if NACHI would be willing to share costs of having them produced if I included findaninspector.us and NACHI on the mousepads…which he agreed to. So now I have 250 great looking Mousepads that cost me about $3.65 each.

Nice job. I sent you my 1/2 ($911.25). Get them out there to the agents. If you get any thank-you notes, send them to me and I'll post on http://www.nachi.org/thankyou.htm

Go get em’ Ron.

I hope your phone rings off the hook. Let us know if these improved your inspection numbers.

Good Luck.

I started giving them out yesterday…went into the Real Estate Office today to pick up a key for an inspection and the receptionist was using the mousepad that I gave her. She loves it. I will keep you posted David. So far so good.

Nick,

Is this open to the rest of us to do also? I want to use the mousepad supplied by NACHI but hesitate because, being from Canada, we are a little harder to find on the findaninspector website. Could we order pads with our name and NACHI to share the cost?

Nick,

When you send a mousepad to an agent we ask you to, do you send a note that the nachi person requested that the pad be sent to the agent, or does it appear that it came straight from you?

jeez, does that make sense???

Ok to the members who have sent out requests for Mouse Pads. How long dose it take after the request is put in ? I’ve recently put in to have a number of Realtors receive them and I’m curious to how long its going to take for them to be shipped.

I can’t really count them all, but it looks like there are over 20,000 or more requests in the pipeline.

We eventually want every agent to have one on their desk.

I’m going to have to put in an order for about 800 soon. Does the letter to the agents specify the inspector or the company? If an inspector left an organization and started their own business, I’d think they would like the agents to remember that the inspector had requested the mousepads for them.

Nick do you guys keep track of what Realtors have got mouse pads. I know we have got to have some HI in the same service areas. When I started submitting addresses I started with a 40 mile and found every realtor that was listed and E-Mailed them in. Is there something in place to keep a realtor from receiving 15 mouse pads from 15 different Inspectors?
