Musk was probably chosen to do this job (which has to be done) for 4 reasons:

Wow, less than 15 minutes reading time to get triggered! Maybe a record?

PSA. Everyone listen up. We are all to refrain from any forum activity that does not serve John Adams’ purpose on this forum. (that is until he figures out how to control the content he wishes to see and notifications)

John, please keep us posted so we know when we may reconvene.

Seriously, John, you can update your settings to mute topics and how you are notified. If you need assistance, just ask. We are happy to help.

I don’t understand your reference? Triggered, no… annoyed yes. I don’t want right- or left-wing propaganda being shared in my email from a forum about home inspections… It is quite annoying. I’m sure you would find the antithesis of this predicament annoying, but you found a right-winged echo chamber to confirm your own biases. This shouldn’t be the purpose of this forum, and frankly undermines the confidence I have in InterNACHI as an organization.

Yeah, I don’t see an option to block a post without an assigned topic. This appears to be a general post from one of the moderators that doesn’t understand the value or importance of not imposing their political ideals or agenda on other not partisan members of this organization.

Maybe I am just unclear how it works, but I have already tried to block post like these. The topic is not labeled and there is nothing for me to do other than blanket mute the culprit, which seems like something I shouldn’t do considering the other on topic post generated that I am interested in…

What do you mean block? It is easy enough to mute a thread. Once again, who knows what you want to see other than you?

And I only get emails when someone directly responds to my post or comment. Other members can show you more. This section of your profile has many options.

You mean this guy?

Yeah, probably a low-level nobody

Muting this post doesn’t prevent similar ones from being shared in my email feed.

Then, turn off your email feed. I do not see any of this in my email. Or, just complain. Complain to that low-level guy above; he might have an opinion. You can do this simply by @ then username. example: @bcawhern1

I think you just need to change your setting of “Notifications”.

When I first read your post, Nick, I was thinking Kenneth Lott.

I don’t think I knew Kenneth Lay.

Short clip from today’s Cabinet meeting with President Trump…

Who cashed the checks??

I was just thinking about the terrorists. The memes are cute and all, but if I were a Tesla owner, I would be genuinely terrified. Which is the point. The point is that the left will cancel you, force jab you, shut down your business, burn your city, topple your statues, and now burn your car. All in the name of preference morality.

Probably still better than ending up disappeared to a maximum security prison in El Salvador.

Yeah, I agree. Or being an American teen killed by a drone while visiting outside of a combat zone by a President who targeted you for elimination.

Our moral preferences justify all types of actions. Further exacerbated by our agenda. As illustrated in your response just now, your moral preference prevails.

Is that not what we do? We argue moral preferences which are fluid because of our agenda.

Just an observation.
