I would like to welcome a lot of inspectors here into the “new world” but I’ll have to start on a level they are familiar and comfortable with.
As far as money goes. I got plenty to come to an event they paid for and I tend to feel that people still value something if it costs them (at least) something but appreciate it when they know they are getting a great deal and maybe some other benefits.

Listen folks, for those of you that know me and can read between the lines, you know that I do whatever it takes to turn our members into Marines (well trained inspecting machines).
Talk to other people. I have been told this, as have others. I do not wish to start a war over this. I have already been there. I respect the person who told me this too much to tell him “go jump in a lake” to to further the current bad feelings. Better to correct from above than to bitch from below.

Teaching is an art, not a science
I think too many people are confusing “Nachi Certified Training” with the NACHI chapter training. They are two different beasts…
Nachi Certified Training is organized by Tom Rausch and has nothing to do with the chapters itself I believe…correct me if I am wrong nick but thats what I understand.
Anyway…Tom chooses the instructors for the seminars that he pain stakingly puts on…he puts ALOT of time into it…and he makes the choices on the instructors and bares the weight of it.
How many instructors are needed on a specific topic…well personally I think only (1) per topic field…why should their be more?..but thats Tom’s choice.

We should see what kind of things we can implement here “in our neck of the woods”. Seems like most of the good seminars cost quite a bit(and most are in Denver).
Will - you and I have corresponded by email a few times and I have always been very positive with your potential involvement with NCT. I look forward to the day when I get the Illinois (and other states that you are willing to travel to) schedules confirmed - you will be on it, if you agree.
