I saw that commercial about two weeks ago or so…I thought the same thing about the “Passed” remark. Never thought that we’d get involved, but I’m glad to see we are making them rethink their decision.

This is great!

I see that commercial about 3 times a day.

My wife just laughs at me because I get so Peed off when I see it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has noticed this. I just printed the press release so I can show it to her when she gets home.

Thanks Nick for making me appear halfway sane.

Or at least not the only one around who gets fired up when they see these ads.

Good for you Nick. I’m proud to see that you are not afraid to stand up and state what is right even when it involves such a large comany as Remax.

I’ve seen the ad repeatedly. My wife thought I was crazy saying “we don’t pass or fail a house!” every single time.

RE/MAX is a great company to work with… and in my case… work for. I like them very much and think they are a good company. We all make mistakes though and this is one they made.

Let me know if you come across any other misconceived ads.

Fixing...

Nick, have you sent this out as an official NACHI press release to the other media portals? We might be able to get some drive-time national publicity via the news channels, even a mistake might in the end prove be a blessing.

The commercial is running here (again) in suburban Chicago, apparently fairly aggressively. I don’t watch a hell of a lot of television, but I’ve seen this ad at least three (3) times in the last week or so…

apparently Re/Max doesn't agree that the ad sends the wrong message(s) to consumers.
