Really. So what does quarterly meen to you?
What would help the profession and inspectors most would be if a new national association came along with more member benefits than NACHI or at least a national association that gives NACHI some a run for our money. This would give inspectors more choice and force both associations to compete for members… which would be good for the industry.
Well Nick it would seem that Joe Farsetta is about to evict me from the MO So I would like to tell you that it has been a pleasure. You my friend are a top of the line marketing and sales person and even if I do not think that the 10k cut off is a good idea I am sure it is as you are the one to bring it about.
Take care of your self and shoot James B. in the head when you see him LMAO.![]()
Excuse me, Todd?
Perhaps you need to stop listening to those voices in your head, so much. They are not real.
Todd, to me it means “newspaper.” There is a reason newspapers are struggling… the world changed and we are keeping up with it. When newspapers figure out a way to run shows on each page and become iPhone friendly… maybe we’ll go back to them. But for now… we’re all about digital video.
Please notice the emoticon James.![]()
What do you mean “evict you from the MO.” What is MO?
Okay. As you were…![]()
James you are as much of a part of what NACHI truly is as anyone and I was just hoping.:p:p
DR. screw and his minnions wish to eradicate me from members only. If needeed I will submit the required pages to prove myself, but if I do i want everyone to do so.
Todd, you are waxing nostalgic a bit prematurely, IMO. Nick knows what he’s doing. Hang on to your seat on the starship NACHI and watch. It’s going to be fun.![]()
You’re welcome to visit us in MO whenever you like, Todd. Keep your licensing crap out of our state, though.![]()
Nick always makes it fun, but I was called out by farsetta, so I will make it right if he does(not possible) I admit I am here on a free pass, but I will never let BS ride.
I hope no one else sees this, but you James have done wonders for this MB in your own way as I and many others have tried to do over the years.
Thank you for being your self.:D:D
I have no idea what you are talking about and can’t follow the conversation. Sorry.
^The whole point was that you know what you are doing and we(NACHI members) just have a slight differece of oppinion. Thats all.
Thanks, I think. I really don’t know what I’m doing becuase Joe Hagarty has my book and won’t give it back. The idea of capping membership and allowing leaving members to sell their seats to new applicants is outlined in Chapter 31 of the book. I have to go by memory though because Hagarty won’t return my copy of “How to Build the World’s Biggest Best Inspection Trade Association.”
He probably lost it.
LOL. I doubt Joe lost it, he may be hiding it from you for the sake of the world though.:D:p
I personally agree with Nick. I’d like to cap the membership once I joined.
Got your wish. We can now concentrate on helping our 10,000 members all be successful. Who wants a hugh 35,000 member associaition of struggling inspectors… I don’t.
Todd, Joe Farsetta has issued this clarification recently:
*Conditions of Membership: *
**
*The NACHI COE states that it is the duty of each member to help promote the organization. To that end, a condition of membership in the organization is for any member that has a web site, brochure, or other marketing literature to include NACHI and/or “The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors” (in word, link, and/or text). Should another home inspection association be listed or referred to, it shall be positioned and sized in a manner equal to, or less prominent than that of NACHI. Should any member be found in violation of this rule, membership revocation can occur at any time, and without notice or recourse. *
