I'm truly humbled by your request. I am very proud of my military career but feel that my medals and ribbons have no comparison to those that made the ultimate sacrafice for their country. They deserve our full admiration and recognition.

Of all the HIs in all of the associations in all of the states - you, my friend, have passed the REAL test. Those are what I call "credentials" to lead. I'm proud to be a part of the same organization that you are the head of.
Thanks for putting this up, Nick. John, as most heroes, is too humble to mention it himself. This coming weekend as we remember our fallen heroes, let us not forget to remember and appreciate those who are still among us.
