Need some input...

As a fellow military member I am in the same boat for retirement. Good luck out there and keep your head down. It looks like I will be going at the end of November for tour #3.

My prayers are with you and your family. In my type of work i.e. the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, we keep our head on a swivel. Thank you for your thoughts and you keep your head down. Sound like you will be going to a place a bit more dangerous than I am.

Are you reserve or active?

I have never heard of the group that is sending you info. I would suggest looking into Enviromrntal Solutions Association (ESA). They are teamed with NACHI and Pro-Lab. Training is cheaper and it is in conjunction with NACHI.

I took the allergen course recently and it was very good. It is my understanding that ESA will be doing all of the training that Pro-Lab was doing before (somebody let me know if I’m wrong here as I heard it through the grapevine).

I got a call from ESA about a year ago. They talked me into getting a DVD course for mold certification. They told me I would save thousands in lab fees, materials and insurance. After not hearing from them for over a week, I e mailed them back and cancelled. Weeks later I got the course in the mail. I returned it to them and asked for a refund. They told me they would not be able to extend a refund to me. I had to call several times and get a supervisor and give them a copy of the e mail I sent cancelling the order before it was even shipped. They eventually refunded my money, but gave me nothing but grief.

I got a call from them as well. When I did a Google Search on Rich Finigan that ESP advertises as the #1 home inspector in the country, I got this link to a previous thread on this forum.
