This looks wrong to me. Do y’all think they just damaged/tore the insulation in a segment and covered with tape or does this look like a standard repair?
Looks like the insulation might have been ripped and they taped it back together. I would write it up as questionable even if it may not cause any issues. Personally, I would have replaced that section and hung it with wider straps to avoid the “choking” effect.
