Often, when I open a new tab, it immediately jumps to another page showing search results for things I didn’t search for. This happened several years ago but I can’t remember how I fixed it. It was a simple fix. Any ideas?
What browser are you using?
I’m using Chrome. I’m not sure but it seems to me that last time I just had to change some settings.
I just cleared cache and that seems to have done it.
Yes. Get $1,200.00 and a big sledge hammer. Hit the computer hard and go get a new MacBook Pro. Of course, you back it up first. Ha Ha
This is a MacBook Pro, Larry. It only has 5 years of heavy use, so like the last one, I expect 3 more years out of it. The sledgehammer idea has already ocurred to me a number of times with various computer (and printer) related things. For some reason they no longer sell the mouse pads that say “Pound Head Here”.
