Hello all.
I inspected a home with this oil furnace today. I’m getting 2 stories of how old it’s been in the home. It’s in great working condition but cant find a date of manufacturing. Any ideas ? I’m thinking 1985? Its a Hallmark Brand .
I recall that Columbia doesn’t embed any date code in the serial number, you have to call them (on models that don’t list the Manufacture Date as a line item).

It also had a Gauge that was odd for the oil pressure. It was 0 when off and when furnace came on it went up to -10 Hg?? ( increase ) The bottom of the gauge says 100xkPa and under that has Hg.
I haven’t seen this before. I think oil pressure should be around 100 PSI but I’m not sure how this translates?
