I know that the OIR and the FBC are regulated under different divisions of our State Government but do you think that they maybe should talk a little. Which box would you check off here? This particular home is located in Exposure " C" and a 140 mph wind zone, and the area of the roof depicted in the picture is zone “2”. The roof decking is attached to the top cord shim at 6" on edge and 6" in the field. The shim is aprox. 2-3/4". Wonder what the attachment of the shim too the truss should be? Oh well as Meeker would say we just report what the form states. The roof sheathing is attached 6" x 6" with 8d Nails. Wonder where the damn building inspector was. This is embarrassing I thought this type of deficiency only happened in places like Missouri. LOL
