My hot water tank was on the verge of replacement.
I inspected it last week for a section of this course.
I knew it was old and hoped it would last at least another month to afford a replacement.
Unfortunately it decided to give up the ghost on the weekend.
I got it replaced but now I’m broke.
Luckily it did not do any damage in my home, the leak was confined in the heater flue and did not spray outward.
I hope you kept the old one so you could perform an autopsy on it…
