That wireway doesn’t look like it is more than 40% full but I do agree using wood for wire management is a poor choice.

You are right, wireways are 20%


I still think the real problem is someone pulled all of those conductors out, trying to sort them out during the remodel and couldn’t get them laid back in.


Perhaps we could try to do a fill calc but there are a lot of square inches there.

I just blew up the picture and brightened it. The bad spot would have to be between the 1st and 3d stick. That does look too full. The real question is what is going on there? This is certainly not all about the panelboard in the picture. Are these service conductors feeding other panelboards? If so where are the bonding bushings?
