My God where do you want me to start? Missing dead cover, missing front cover, loose wires, open knock-outs, located behind a post denying at least 3 foot free zone in front of panel, and probably a lot more I can’t see. At this point I recommend further eval and repair by licensed electrician…nuff said…

Please ignore if this is too far off of the subject, but:


From the hole where the cable in the upper right penetrates the concrete block, a vertical crack seems to have been started.


Does anyone care to speculate the reason?

Ordinarily I would think that the hole was put there to releive the stress of a crack that was already there, and later utilised as a wire penetration. But in this case, the person that did the wiring probably wouldn't be interested in any kind of preventive maintenance.

Any comments?

The hole for the cable should have been sleeved.

Let's hear what you are concerned about.

If that would cause physical damage it will be important information.
