Whatever the pipe is, it is not the PB which had such a high failure rate. And as mentioned, not all PB failed.
In my report I mention PB has a higher failure rate and recommend a plumber evaluate for a risk assessment.
Does “IP” correlate to PB? I searched and could not find it.

To be honest i haven’t had one of those supply lines in my hands for years, even when i was working it was not something I would reach for unless it was the last thing available. You have to wonder though why would someone put supply lines behind a tub/shower valve ?
The black mechanical DWV vent is not atmospheric type or a Studor valve.
