What has really turned me off lately is all of the political comments on the forum. There’s more than enough political crap on the news networks that influences our daily lives. I’d like to see the forum as a place where home inspectors can assist each other, to better themselves, and our profession as a whole. The politics will divide us as Nachi members as it has the country. If clients started choosing a home inspector based on their political bias not to mention race, religion etc. that may eliminate 50% of your business. All politicians stretch the truth (lies) just select the candidate that lies the least. Keep politics out of the forum.

You’re not alone. There have been two other recent threads about this.
It is! You get out of this forum what you put into it. If nobody enteres any inspection questions, scenarios, etc. there won’t be any to see. Something needs to ‘fill-the-gaps’!!
Don’t want politics? Don’t click on them, or if you do by accident, scroll down to just after the last post and open the drop down and click the MUTE button! Doing so will minimize how and where you will see that thread. Muted threads will no longer be “in-your-face”!

Politics can divide us, but it can also bring us together too.
We all have our own political viewpoints and are free to come here to express them, I agree that some of it should be reserved for the non-public sections of the board (NFE), but this isn’t my show, it’s Nicks, and he calls the shots. Period!
Nick, as well as others, myself included, feel that politics indirectly, and in some cases directly, effects our industry, so I can understand it to a point.
Although there are some who take it too far at times, myself included again, most of us are mature enough to be able to seperate the political leanings of our InterNACHI Brothers & Sisters from everything else, that and to not take anything too personal.
