Porch stock getting killed this year

They are not the only ones, lol.

Inflation rose 8.6% in May. Gas is at an all time high. There’s only one way out of this……leadership. Be patient things will begin to turn around in November.

Porch is a solution looking for a problem.

Outside of they own ISN, if they disappeared, no one would notice.

Couldn’t do that with Edward Jones anyways. Wouldn’t know how anyways.
Lost thousands again today.

I have never done it and I don’t like it. In my opinion short selling should be banned. A few big players can get together and short sell a stock into oblivion and artificially drive the price down. You shouldn’t be able to sell a share you don’t own.

No surprise that Porch is tanking. I’d bet they’ll be history within a few years.

Sure, lots of things are down but Porch is down +/- 80% YTD and stock market in general is down 15-20%?

Porch execs and investors, like so many others, think they are smarter than everyone else and can just sift off 20% (or whatever) by being a middle-man on the backs of a bunch of folks actually working. Turns out it’s not so easy, huh?

About the only thing getting 3-4% return at the moment is precious metals. Nothing wrong with that, although it seems like they have underperformed over the last decade.

Same here. I’m down 65% since Nov. 2021

I’ve lost everything I made back to August of 2020.

Hope your correct about the turn around. Leadership is differently the problem, I am just afraid somethings may never come back, due to their socialistic plans.

Never trusted the stock market and never invested. I’ve done really well with real estate, especially the past 10 years. Ups and down of course, but something you can always touch and feel. You guys can play craps with the market all you want.

It’s not really craps, it’s designed for the long haul. You lose some money, but you don’t lose the shares, and you still earn dividends on what is in there. It will come back up eventually. I hope. LOL

I understand totally. Would you rather have had invested in 100 acres of land, or 1000 shares on ERON stock?

Yeah, stock market is a bit more risky it seems but also more liquid. Having all your money tied in real estate can be tough when you need some fast cash. I’ve got both and am in aggressive funds in the market. At 50 I’ve still got some time for this cycle to play out but will probably move to more conservative funds when it does.
