It's probably a FAR-BAR thing they are doing for their protection.
Florida is (and has been) discussing certification and licensing of mold inspectors / contractors / labs / etc. because of all the hyped up mold stuff and so many people are getting ripped off and complaining to their legislators.
I think it will have a reducing effect on MOLD IS GOLD inspectors - will probably put many out of the MOLD business (which they should not be in anyway).

Last time I checked, like in North Carolina where I have a second residence,after Home Inspector licensing went into effect business didn’t go down but just the opposite it went up. Yes it put some out of business,but those of us that stayed in it, increased sales…HMMMM hope they do license it. Im ready
