Question:

Is a hot water boiler system at a disadvantage by using a programmable thermostat ? Has anyone heard this?

I can’t see why. It may take longer than say an oil forced air unit to heat up the space but the thermostat is either calling for heat or it’s not.

I have one that controls my boiler and it works just fine.

Me too. I have a customer asking because someone (I assume a HVAC tech) told her the heat up time out weighs any savings of turning it down at night.

I just can't seem to wrap my head around that one..... ![eusa_think.gif](upload://lNFeGuTetUAtwNVgUSOuUzgrGGK.gif)
