Question-Is this polybutylene?

Good morning, I was unable to determine if this was polybutylene and couldn’t find any markings on the water lines. Most of the time I have no problem because it’s labeled.

This is a 1985 manufactured home by the way.
I would appreciate any help on this, what do you all think?

It will be stamped on the pipe PB2110.

In addition , it is leaking.

Yep, I’ve got that in the report as well!

sure looks like poly

To me it looks like some is PB and some is ( I think it is called) Polypropylene.
However, I could be incorrect.

Will polybutylene always be labeled? There was nothing no where as far as labeling goes.

Was it opaque ? Kind of frosted looking?

Yes! …

Morning, Paul. Hope to find you well.
See if you can see QEST ® on the plastic repair fitting or piping.
Observation: Plumbing. Domestic potable water supply pipes.
Suspect: Polybutylene piping with original metal crimp and plastic compression repair fittings.
Recommend: A licensed plumbing contractor evaluate the type of domestic potable water supply piping.
Limitations: Manufacturing marks. Items excluded from a building inspection: Tube Sink Overflows.
Manufacturing labels. Floor, wall and ceiling assemblies.
Act upon referrals and recommendations.

Hi Robert, Unfortunately I can’t see the labeling on the pictures that I have of the fittings.

Hi, Paul.
I hear you. Been at inspections were markings are not readily available.
Suspect: Polybutylene piping with original metal crimp and plastic compression repair fittings.
