i would suggest they have an elictrician install 2 or 3 smaller breakers to better protect individual circuts. icon_cool.gif

On the 30 amp ckt there should be no wire less than 10 gage. They need smaller breakers to match the wire size.

What they said…plenty of room on the bus. However, did you see the “wad” of neutrals all jammed under the one terminal screw. They shoved them in kind of far too. Must have been in a hurry to get finished.

There are several issues other than the breaker Cheryl.

Outdoor Zinscos have a much shorter life span than those installed indoors. Yours appears to have some deterioration on the bus bars as well.

Defer the entire panel to a sparky. Specify that the panel should be "disassembled for a visual inspection of the bus bars" and "evaluated to determine its "safety, integrity and performance."

Thanks guys, yeah, I called the neutrals out as well on this. Thanks Jeff for the Zinsco tip. Pretty much all of the panels in CA are outside on the wall I didn’t look closely at the bus bar. Will call it out. Poor homeowner, said they bought the house 3 years ago and thier inspector found none of the stuff I called out. There jaws hit the floor. I felt bad for them, guess the HI wasn’t a NACHI member!
