Radon testing. I have some questions

InterNachi is just the beginning! You need more education, then take the national exam & pass that. I charge $125 with inspections & $175 alone. I also do mitigation since I also have my remodeling license when I just test homes. Radon eye pro’s run $800.00, I have a couple. Main thing, is your state licensed like mine, in Pa. I must be state licensed.

Thanks Lewis. How do I find out if Utah is one of those states? Do I type Utah radon requirements into Google or something?

Pretty sure you aren’t licensed, PA & NJ on east coast, rest of the states are the wild west! I would still recommend you get NRPP certified so you know your shit. Anyone can set up a test but having the certificate sets you apart from the uneducated faux testers. Good luck, I do at least 1 test a week & 1 mitigation a month in addition to my inspections & remodeling. Post on FB once you get certified and educate people of the danger radon poses.

It can be a challenge to educate clients sometimes, lol.

Thanks Lewis. What’s your opinion on my business plan of doing only ancillary services for inspectors and realtors?

Search this very forum for the outright BS that Caoimhin has posted about mold and mold testing. The guy is an absolute joke in the scientific community.
