Jeez I’ve been busy.
Very cool shots guys.
Im not as good as most of you yet, but i thought this was cool.
Are you boiling eggs Michael?
Nice pic!
Exactly, it probably would have looked better in rainbow pallet.
Do any of you guys have any TIR1 images that have not been manipulated?
Busy as h$ll
You mean like this?
Medical looks cool as well!!
How about this one?
All converted using Flir quick report.
Thanks Kevin. I’ve been trying to get a feel for the Flukes but can never tell if the image is straight or modified. I can tell with a FLIR image.
Not sure what you mean by straight or modified.
Those have been through the Fluke Smartview software to make them PiP (I like to scan in full IR) and generally to change the palette (I like to scan in grayscale and usually present in Ironbow.) The software also has an optimize feature that basically is an automatic range optimizer that I will sometimes use. Then exported to the JPEG format.
But they are all real photos from actual inspections under normal inspection conditions.
All in all, I am very happy with the TiR1 for building inspection use.
Kevin,
That is exactly to the tee as to how I do it as well. Always full IR grayscale while working, unless I want to show the customer something. Then I put it into Red/Blue. I will present in Ironbow or Red/Blue, and in PiP so they can get a better idea of where the image was taken.
SmartView is amazing.
