Well it has been a long ride HG. HG was the only software I had used since we started BIG. Did you know HG used to have it’s own message board? Did you know InterNACHI made a special area on their own message board for HG? I used them both and thought they moved way to slow to get the help I needed. I started the FB HG Users group back in mid 2015 in an effort to help myself and other inspectors get info quick so they could keep their work flow going. HG was great for supporting it and making the group successful. I purposely kept this group independent of HG so you could speak your mind as needed. I had the pleasure of meeting Russell, Sean, Tracy and especially Shancy a few times at different conventions. I really miss the old HG. The new HG has done nothing but make it more difficult to keep up with what we inspectors need. These companies seem to forget to listen to us and implement what we the home inspectors need. I made the switch to ScribeWare last week and it has been tough, I am not going to lie. After 1000’s of HG companion reports new software is hard to adapt to. You try not to run over on time at the property so you take a lot of pictures and voice notes which makes it longer at the office to complete the report. I see the future with them though and the SW software is amazing with some fresh ideas to make on site reports much quicker. Just speaking from my research and experience so far.

I been using them since 2003, and I too long for yesterday, so to speak.
I recently deleted the list of “bugs” or improvements that were promised (over & over) and never materialized, as it’s clear they have no interest in any of it now.
@sbaker2 - I hear you but am so in bed with my templates, I have not swapped as of yet. What was it that pushed you over to make the switch? That is a hard line to cross!!!
I have also been using HG since I started back in 2010. If I was not so danged close to retirement…I’m sure I would be switching to something else.
My HG Companion was not working properly and I found out about yet another insurance splash page they are throwing in front of clients that use HG for signing agreements. I don’t use that but I was tired of it. Been with HG since I started and also created the HG Users Facebook group. It was not a small decision.
