Just got a call from someone who claims he represents Secure 24 and they would pay me $200 every time a home inspection client purchased their services. Also mentioned MAHI and claimed thousands of Home Inspectors participated. I listened to the whole spiel and then declined. Anybody else here of them.
Don’t even know what their services are
I’ve never heard of them, but still occasionally get the calls with similar offers.
Only reason I mention it is he claimed to be an Inachi approved vendor. How would you verify that?
I bought into that for a while. Spectora pushes them as well. I would offer it to my clients and if they wanted me to pass on their info I would. Secure24 (ADT) promises to give them the best deal. After a while I found out several of my referrals did sign up, but I never got paid. I acted as a customer through them and the deals were actually a bit more than posted on ADT’s site. I left and never went back. I never heard anything about NACHI being involved.
It’s legit. I’ve actually made about $1k over the past year or so from it.
They sell ADT, and install the whole system for free, but I’m sure they get you on the monthly service fee.
But I make sure the client is interested before sending off the email.
That’s interesting. I would call them and make sure you get those checks.
The following inspection industry vendors are recommended and endorsed by InterNACHI.
There are currently no InterNACHI recommended and endorsed vendors at this time. Check www.InspectorMALL.com
Except this guy told me it was an InterNachi approved vendor, which didn’t smell right to start with and turns out to be a lie. So I’m supposed to recommend liars to my clients. I don’t think so.
I receive at least a few calls a month from vendors claiming to be “InterNACHI approved” or “I work with Nick Gromicko”. Everything from Health Insurance, to SEO services, website builders, or whatever other flavor of the day they are trying to sell. They obviously have farmed the listings of InterNACHI to get our contact information. Annoying, however there is not much you can do about it really.
Gregory Krieger is on the money. Great guy. Great product.
Great endorsement of someone who is entirely unrecognized and unknown. Who is he? what is the product?
I received one $200 check so far… This is how I think it is working. If I click the “Send to Secure24” button on the inspection screen in Spectora an email goes to my client. I was assured by Secure24 that the email gives them the offer for an ADT system, says Secure24 will be calling within a week, and that my client can easily opt-out of the phone call and further emails. I do that for clients that I think would actually be interested in an alarm system. If I do not click that button, Secure24 simply appears as a deal option on the client portal and my client can opt-in if they are interested. If I get wind that Secure24 is selling the client info to a third party, or violates the above, I can simply turn off the business partner relationship within Spectora.
Unless you have an agreement with Secure 24 that specifically states that they do not sell client information you can be assured they do just that. Welcome to the real world!
It may be legit, but in Ohio we can loss our license for accepting this payment. Of course we are fighting our politicians to change to change this law.
You’d send an email to fastrepy at Nachi.
I consider taking such a kickback unethical, but Secure 24 claims it’s OK.
For me, I recommend a security system that’s lower cost than ADT, easier to deal with over time, and more expandable. I take no kickback.
I don’t recommend third party products. Period.
I use them, they are a good company
I have made $1200 dollars in one year.
